Here We Are, Where Are We? is the interior of an abandoned business in an alternate reality. This installation is sometimes exhibited in relation to When You're Done Dying (exterior and parking lot). As people move into what would be the interior of the business, they might be confused at first, not sure what they are looking at. The floor is brightly lit as light dissipates up the walls. What viewers are encountering is 9-12 fluorescent shop ceiling fixtures hanging 6” off the ground aimed towards the floor in a grid pattern. Participants can move through the installation by walking in between and around the fixtures. Materials are birch plywood, electrical components and hardware.
